Publication Ethics
"The Research of Medical Science Review" (RMSR) is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct in research and publication. These guidelines serve as a framework for authors, reviewers, and editors to ensure the integrity, transparency, and credibility of published articles.
Authorship:
- Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, analysis, and interpretation of the research work.
- All authors listed should meet ICMJE authorship criteria and have approved the final manuscript for submission.
- Guest authorship and honorary authorship are strongly discouraged.
- Ghostwriting and plagiarism are strictly prohibited.
Research Conduct:
- All research involving human subjects must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki and relevant ethical guidelines. Informed consent must be obtained from all participants.
- Research involving animals must adhere to the ARRIVE guidelines and relevant animal welfare regulations.
- Ethical approval from an appropriate Institutional Review Board or Ethics Committee is required for studies involving human or animal subjects.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their data and reporting methods.
Peer Review:
- RMSR adheres to a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness and objectivity.
- Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and potential conflicts of interest are declared and managed appropriately.
- Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement to the authors.
- Editors make decisions based on the scientific merit of the manuscript and reviewer feedback.
Publication Misconduct:
- RMSR has a zero-tolerance policy for research and publication misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and authorship manipulation.
- Allegations of misconduct will be investigated thoroughly and appropriate action will be taken, including retraction of published articles.
Data Sharing and Availability:
- Authors are encouraged to share underlying data upon reasonable request, following ethical and legal considerations.
- Data sharing statements should be included in the manuscript.
Conflicts of Interest:
- Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their decisions.
- Conflicts of interest will be managed according to the journal's policies to ensure transparency and fairness.
Retractions and Corrections:
- RMSR is committed to correcting errors and retracting articles in cases of misconduct, substantial errors, or ethical violations.
- Retractions and corrections will be prominently displayed in the journal and online databases.
